Dear members and friends of WATAA:

Send off the year 2001 with HIGH SPIRITS! Come join your Taiwanese American neighbors and quests for a heart-warming NEW YEAR party in the newly renovated ballroom of Nottingham Fire Co.
WATAA board members have worked very hard this year arranging stimulating seminars and scaled up summer sports activity for you. On Oct. 6, we launched a Taiwan literature seminar and had a packed room of very enthusiastic supporters. The event was widely reported in media. Attached are newspaper clippings from Liberty Times (10/16), World Journal (10/16) and Cranbury Press (10/5) .
The detailed program for the New Year party is as followed:

PROGRAM ( D.J. will provide music throughout )
    5:00-5:30 PM Registration and social hour
    5:30-7:00 PM Dinner (see note), greetings from the board, election of new board members.
    7:10-8:00 PM Members of second generation share insights and experiences of growing up in America.  (Brief speech and panel discussion)
    8:10-9:00 PM Entertainment and talent show.
    9:10-11:00 PM Dancing and Ruffles.
Note: a very selective ten-course banquet from Super Star East Buffet
